Whether you are a hill walker of experience or just a beginner the whole area abounds with delightful walks.
Ben Lawers, Britain's tenth highest mountain at 1214 meters, overlooks the village along with its stunning
neighbour the Tarmachan Ridge. Ben Lawers is a recommended beginner's choice with magnificent views
from the top. For the experienced mountaineer there are over twenty 'Munros' within a twenty-mile radius
of Killin, and great routes all-year round.

The local hills are superb under snow with some of Scotlands best ski tours and
winter walks in the area. If your wanting to get out this winter then we can help with our ice axe, crampon and snowshoe hire.
We also can supply all the necessary kit you need to enjoy the hills for many years to come.
A wide variety of maps and guidebooks are also available from the shop.
