Canoes and
Kayaks - Sales and Hire We have two sizes of Old Town
canoes for hire as well as single or double sit-on kayaks.
This combination means we have something to suit everyone in
the family.
Canoe and Kayak trips starting from Killin go down the River Lochay on to Loch Tay. You can
explore the Islands at the head of the loch, with the chance to have a picnic on the Islands. After which you return the
same way making it ideal for everyone especially families.
Trips are
self guided with maps provided, duration as per the hire times. The
River Lochay is lovely and slow moving with no rapids in this section
down to the loch.
It should be noted that all our hire activities are
unsupervised and you are responsible for your own safety
Our canoes
can generally hold two adults and two small children but you
will be advised on the best option for your needs.
