Killin Outdoor Centre is the perfect site for you to try out several types of new or second hand open canoes before you buy. Our shop is just 50 metres from a gentle section of The River Lochay which flows into Loch Tay. We will be happy to spend some time helping you try out different models of Old Town Canoes. Where else in Scotland can you get this service ?

Old Town offer a wide variety of canoe models and designs, each with features and design elements to meet specific paddling needs.

If you want to hire a canoe we transport it on a trolley to the river which flows into Loch Tay. At the head of the loch there are several island for you to explore with fantastic wildlife. You may even see the local Ospreys fishing! It's the perfect safe family adventure. Take a picnic and head for a deserted sandy beach of one of the islands - you will not be dissappointed !
